Job Description
Your daily job responsibilities will consist of providing excellent customer service while picking up multiple donations (ranging between 60-90 daily) from customer's homes in the DFW area for charity. Communicate with the dispatch department and lead driver regarding any issues on your route or the company truck. Loading and unloading donation items. Daily pre-trip truck inspections and perform minor repairs as needed.
Requirements
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Possess a clean driving record (MVR)
- Experience operating a 16-ft box truck
- Safe driving practices
- Use load straps
- Ability to stack properly in order to prevent load from falling
- Use of 2-wheel dolly
- Ability to follow GPS on tablet
- Obey traffic laws at all times
- Heavy lifting capabilities - up to 50 lbs
- Available to work overtime
- Ability to pay close attention to detail
- Ability to Multi-task
Schedule
7-day rotating schedule: will work 1 Sunday every 7 weeks, guaranteed 2 consecutive days off a week, and 2 out of the 7 weeks you will have 4 consecutive days off.
